UAF Company trip to Seoul (Apr/May '23)
UAF organized a six-day journey to South Korea for its staff in April and May 2023. Divided into three groups, the employees embarked on a whirlwind tour that included Incheon, Gapyeong, and Seoul. They explored diverse attractions in Incheon, such as the Open Port, Fairy Tale Village, and Chinatown, before moving on to Gapyeong's Gimyujeong Station and Nami Island. In Seoul, they admired the cityscape from Seoul Sky, donned traditional Korean attire at Gyeongbokgung Palace, and enjoyed shopping in markets and streets like Tongin Market and Hongik University Street. The adventure culminated with a visit to Yongin Everland, South Korea's largest theme park.
Throughout the trip, the staff savoured Korean cuisine, from street food to traditional dishes. The journey was more than sightseeing; it strengthened team bonds, rekindled motivation, and emphasized the importance of shared experiences and cherished memories in the workplace. UAF's investment in this trip underscored the significance of employee well-being and camaraderie in the demanding world of business.
